Alanah Stone Performing the role of LAVA

 

Alanah began her music journey at the age of 7, starting at Johnny Young Talent School on the Gold Coast in 2008.  This entailed singing, dancing and acting, her passion for the arts stemmed from there.  Throughout the years she has performed all over the Gold Coast and Brisbane in multiple shows and venues dancing and singing.  From Twin Towns, Cooly Rocks, The Star Casino, Brisbane City plus many more and was lucky enough to gain experience by becoming the assistant dance teacher from 2014-2017.

Alanah has also studied music with TAFE Queensland and SCU.  From this she has graduated with a Diploma of Music Industry and with a Bachelors of Contemporary Music.  As a singer/songwriter and instrumentalist (guitar, piano and bass) Alanah is currently working on releasing her own music.

With a vast range of experience and knowledge in a short space of time Alanah is a talented vocalist who will capture the audience with her powerful voice and broad range of vocal styles (from opera to blues rock) and is able to bring a desirable and pleasing blend of entertainment, this makes it naturally easy for her to slip into the role of LAVA The Rock Chic.

Alexa's evolution into music kickstarted in 2014 having elevated her on both the national and international stage.  As the winner of The Voice Kids and Australian Junior Eurovision representative, she has the envious accolade of having Delta Goodrem as her first vocal coach.

As a Brisbane based singer/songwriter and actress, she combines all elements of performance to deliver audiences an unforgettable and mesmerising insight into her music world.  Alexa is passionate about getting her message out there and through the release of her own songs the goal is to reach out and touch as many through the power of music.  Working alongside fellow songwriters, instrumentalists, producers and music executives, she delves into her authentic, passionate, strong and unique self with her own sense of style and sophistication.

From Noosa to Nashville, Victoria to Valletta, she is excited to bring her silky tones and charismatic personality to embody JADE as she brings her inner diva to life.

Amber Gentle Performing the role of SKY

A small-town girl with a big dream, Amber's genuine passion and dedication for performing and her 'sweetheart' personality allows her to easily portray the role of SKY.  With her soothing vocals and stage presence, she is able to effortlessly evoke the emotions within the 80s hit ballads as well as switching it up when it's time to have some fun with the audience. 

 

Amber started her stage performance playing electric bass guitar in an all-girl band that performed at carnivals, events and competed in competitions such as the "SmokeFree RockQuest".  Amber moved to the Gold Coast where she started singing and playing her acoustic guitar with main stage performances at the Night Quarter Markets as well as regular weekly gigs at entertainment venues across the Gold Coast while majoring in a music industry degree.

 

Amber Gentle is also an up and coming contemporary R&B singer/songwriter and aspiring actress, with a dream to make it in the industry.  She draws on inspiration from successful artists such as H.E.R., The King of Pop Michael Jackson, Tori Kelly and many more to create her own style of music that consists of a repertoire of pop, country and classics.  Amber's ultimate goal is to touch and inspire all through her music and performance.

Mick Martin  LEAD GUITAR

Mick's career has spanned more than three decades and a multitude of musical styles.

An award winning guitarist, Mick has supported and backed a number of international acts such as Nick Lowe, Joe Walsh (Eagles) and Johnny Tillotson.

Mick has also backed some of Australia's much loved heroes including Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock), Mark Gable (Choirboys), Wendy Mathews, Sara De Bono (The Voice), Joe camilleri, Eurogliders, Adam Harvey, Lee Kernaghan, Peter Cupples, Col Elliot, Judie Stone, Paul Martell, Tania Kernaghan, Jane Scali and The Drifters, just to name a few.

Mark Williams  BASS GUITAR

Mark Williams has been continuously working in the entertainment industry as a bass player for four decades. In that time he's performed in locations as diverse as Australian outback communities to five star hotel bars in Tokyo and Shanghai, to inner city night clubs in Melbourne and Sydney, to festival stages throughout Europe. Underground WWII bunkers and castle banquet halls in Germany to casino theatre shows in South Africa and Botswana. Local RSL clubs and cafes to exotic pacific island luxury resorts. He's performed with a diverse range of artists and over the years has established a catalog of song writing and recording credits. He is now excited to bring his passion for music to 8 O S.

Brett Newman  DRUMS

Brett is a professional drummer / percussionist / vocalist with over 30 years experience in the music industry.  He has extensive experience in live performances - playing festivals, stadiums, corporate functions, weddings, clubs and touring, as well as studio recording sessions for albums, EP's.

 

Brett is also experienced as a music tutor and performs clinics/workshops, representing major brand companies.

Brett has played support for the likes of Hiatus, Kaiyote, Ronan Keating, The Black Sorrows, Jimmy Barnes, Toni Childs, Troy Casar-Daley, and many more.

Andrew (AJ) Jolly  KEYS / SYNTHS

Originally from Sydney playing professionally for over 30 years, AJ toured extensively with original band "Run Silent" whose debut album went platinum in indonesia. 

 

AJ has supported acts such as Human Nature, The Choir Boys, Margaret Urlich and Swanee.  He has also played with "Mid Nyt Sun" featuring Gordon Hunt (Guitarist for Sade, Billy Ocean and Bob Marley). 

 

AJ has also recorded on many albums and was a member of the "Round Midnight" in house band.
